What kind of place do you live in?
I live with my parents in an apartment. It is a first floor house of 120 square meters with a big garden in Zibo, Shandong province. Two dogs and one cat also live with us there. There are some trees and vegetables planted in the garden by my parents, living a poetic life.
Which part of your home do you like the most?
The big garden in my flat is my favorite part. The garden is also the most important factor that my parents decide to buy this house. It is a natural place where we can forget about the busy urban life and involve ourselves into the work of planting and gardening to enjoy the family time.
Is there anything you dislike about your home?
Although the garden brings lots of fun and laughter to my family, there is one disadvantage of it. The door connecting the flat to the garden is not so closed and the temperature in our house is always lower than that in other houses in winter. My parents and I tried to fix this problem but it never worked.
Do you prefer living in a house to living in a flat?
Actually, with a garden we already have, living in a flat is not far from living in a house. The house might be bigger than the flat, but there are only four people in my family which means big space is not very necessary. There is also a disadvantage of living in a house. You need to spend more time cleaning the house.
