Where do you come from?
I come from Linzi, Shandong province in northern China. It is a small town located on the border between Zibo and Weifang. It has developed rapidly since the late 90s thanks to the factories that Sinopec built here. These factories provide many jobs for the citizens in my hometown and my parents also become members of Sinopec.
What's the best thing about your hometown?
I think the best thing in my hometown, also the thing I’m very proud of, is that it was the capital of Qi state in Spring and Autumn period. Although the previous palace for royal living has disappeared for a long time, precious cultural relics are discovered and preserved in the museum as a witness of the prosperity of Qi state.
Do you plan to live there in the future?
Perhaps. I’m not sure about whether I should settle down in my hometown or not. I want to fight for a better career and life in big cities currently. But when I grow older, I might choose the lower-tier city as a place to live in. My hometown is one of my choices to be considered.
