雅思口语Part1话题：Boat
Have you ever traveled by boat?
Unfortunately, no. But I have read books and watched movies and TV shows about boat traveling, and I took a small boat on a lake before. So I think I can still talk about my feelings about boating.
Do you like boating?
I don’t like it very much. Because I have serious carsickness, if I were carried by a jolting vehicle, I would feel very uncomfortable and throw out in a short time. I can only enjoy a little bit of boat drifting on placid water.
Would you like to have your own boat?
Though I am afraid of drifting on jolting boat, I think having my own boat is attractive. Imaging building a house near a beautiful lake, dragging my own boat into the water and lie down in it, enjoying the sun of afternoon. That would be so great!
Is boat trip popular in China?
Not really. Boat trip is not so popular compared with car trip in China, considering the fact that most parts of China are inland. In provinces like Hunan and Shanghai near rivers, yachts are driven on the river, but it’s still not so attractive to most of the citizens.
