  范文

I would like to talk about a traditional product in China that has a profound history. It is tea. Tea is a kind of beverage made from the leaves of tea plants. As a substitute for plain water, it is very good for health. Chinese people have a very long and prestigious history of drinking tea, and it is considered as one of the seven necessities of life of Chinese people, along with rice, oil, salt and other materials. I tried to drink tea for the first time when I was very young, about six years old. At that time the flavor of tea was too intense and bitter to me so I didn’t really like it. However, with time passing by, I begin to fall in love with its taste. It makes me feel refreshed.

I have seen the producing process of the tea, which is very complicated. First you need to collect the tea-leaves grown in the mountain, then put the leaves in a large pan and use gentle fire to make moisture evaporate. Then the tea-leaves could be preserved for a long time. I am deeply fascinated by the process of tea making. I admire the wisdom of ancient Chinese people.

There are so many different types of tea in China, and their smell and taste vary. Green tea like Longjing Tea、Biluochun Tea is well known by its faint scent, and black tea like Qihong Tea is famous because of its mellow flavor. But whatever type the tea is, it always has a bitter taste at the first sip, then the sweetness after your first taste lasts long, which is really fascinating. What’s more, the names of each type of tea are so beautiful and meaningful that you can imagine how well it tastes when you hear its name. There are many teahouses where you can always have tea with your friends in China. Through drinking tea together people feel closer to each other, and these reasons may answer the question why people, including me, like tea.
