Well, I am going to talk about a foreign teacher named John who is a very interesting person. He is from Los Angeles. He has been living in China for more than five years, but still he could hardly speak any Chinese. The subject he taught is the US history and culture. In his class he told us many interesting stories about him, like how he decided to come to China and how he thought of Chinese food. He told us that at first he was very lonely and then he met a family who treated him warmly. Now he became a close friend to the family, and he is especially close with the little girl in the family. He also told us that his favorite food in China is dumpling. He told us so many interesting stories that his words often caused us to laugh. Nowadays I can hardly remember what I have learned in his class about the US history but still I remember his jokes and stories.
John is a humorous and kind-hearted person. He has influenced me a lot with his positive attitude toward life. He treasures the time spent with families and friends and he wholeheartedly love his days in China. Though we have lost contact for years, I often wonder what has he been doing now.
