Well I want to talk about a person whom I follow in Weibo, the China’s twitter. His screen name is Gudabaihua. I don’t know what his real name is. I came to know this person last year. He is a great fan of talk shows and he usually publicizes some interesting videos and pictures that relate to the hottest movies or TV programs in the US. In these videos he has added Chinese sub-titles so those who don’t understand English can watch these videos as well. He has a deep understanding of the slangs and culture of the US. Thus he is able to understand the funny points or the underlying meanings of these materials, which most ordinary people hardly understand. A lot of people would ask him questions about slangs and he is very willing to share his ideas with his fans.
His knowledge of American slangs impresses me greatly. Besides, he is very humorous. I usually burst into laughter when I read his bloggers. In September Apple has released the iPhone X. Here is how Gudabaihua explained why there is no iPhone 9 — because 7 8 (ate) 9. So funny! He has brought a lot of happy time to me. I wish I could be as knowledgeable as him.
