When did you move
Where did you move
Why did you move
How did you feel about the moving
范文一:
1.适用人群:全适用
2.主题:搬去郊区
3.故事线:我的朋友琳达忍受不了之前的邻居,于是搬去了郊区,琳达必须开车20分钟才能到杂货店。但她并不介意,因为她可以住的比以前更宽敞。
Speaking of a person who moves to a new accommodation, I just think of my friend Linda. Her neighbor frequently played his music excessively loud, which rattles the change off her coffee table. She spoke to him repeatedly and he always turns it down to merely loud. But then turns it back up within the hour. She said she couldn't stand her downstairs neighbor any more so she changed her living place. Now her new neighbors are about 70 years old and they are very quiet. She stays at college most of the time. They don’t have anything in common and just say “hi” when they meet.
The new accommodation she moves to is in a suburb. Linda has to drive 20 minutes to go to the grocery store. But she doesn't mind it because she can live in a bigger than before. When she looks out of the window, she can see the flowers and cute birds flying in the sky. The only thing should be improved of her new accommodation is the blue-color stars all over the walls. Although they glow in the dark, during the day they make her feel depressed. Therefore, she plans to add some posters on them.
4.高分口语语料:
1、Can you describe the place where youlive?
Well, the room I live in is really nice, it’s brightand spacious. What really satisfies me is that it’sreally near where I work. And one more thing whichI’d have to mention about is it cost much less than Ithought.
2、What do you usually do in yourhouse/flat/room?
I watch TV and do some house chores like scrubbing toilets.
3、Are the transport facilities to your home very good?
No, they are not so good. The nearest bus station is half a mile away and there’s only onebus passing every twenty minutes. You’ll get frustrated if you miss a bus.
4、Please describe the room you live in.
I recently put in new hardwood floors and a new fence in the backyard so it doesn't needany improvements. My next home will be a 3 story home, have a huge fenced in backyard formy 3 dogs, all hardwood floors, granite countertops, and 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths.
5、Is there anything you don't like about the place where you live?
It is the color of the wall in my bedroom. It's in light blue color at the moment and the blueis so light that it gets dirty easily. And I'm not into house chores. Plus, the blue color alwaysreminds me of the walls in hospital...so it makes feel I'm living in a hospital sometimes and Idefinitely don't enjoy feeling like that.
6、What kind of decorations does it have?
My door is completely covered in concert posters and tickets. Also, I have an oil painting ofan island with a small yellow house with a tin roof on it and a little boat docked out in thewater.
7、How do you think this room could be improved?
Right now I already have glow in the dark stars all over my walls. Although it makes it lookpretty cool at night it’s dark during the day and makes me feel depressed. So I want tochange the color in to blue and add some posters on it.
8、What can you see when you look out the window of your room?
When I look out the window I can see the flowers are in bloom and children are playing inthe yard.
9、How well do you know your neighbors?
Not much. Most of my neighbors are about 70 years old and have a puppy. I stay at collegemost of the time. We don’t have anything in common and just say “hi” when we meet.
10、What kind of people are your neighbors?
I love all my neighbors except one. My downstairs neighbor frequently plays his musicexcessively loud. It rattles the change off my coffee table. I spoke to him repeatedly and healways turns it down to merely loud. But then turns it back up within the hour.
11、Do you spend much time socializing with your neighbors in your neighbors’home?
Not much. Most of my neighbors are about 70 years old and have a puppy. I stay at collegemost of the time. We don’t have anything in common and just say “hi” when we meet.
12、Do you like the environment where you live?
I live in a suburban environment and I love it. I don’t mind driving 20 minutes to go tothe grocery store. When I go to big cities it is fun for about a week but I soon miss flowers andhaving a backyard and trees and the simplest things like cute birds.
13、Would you say the place where you live is good for families with children?
It doesn’t matter for adults but where I live right now is not good for children. I live in thecenter of big city. Crappy apartments smell like cigarettes with a lot of divorced parents. Also Ithink a supportive and friendly suburban environment is good for children.
14、In the future, what type of place would you like to live in?
It’s a house. I would like to live in a bigger space. Preferably a two-floor detached housecan give me more spaces to move around, especial in the garden. I always fancy having someBBQ parties with my friends in my own garden.
15、What kind of neighborhood/environment/surroundings would you like to livein?
I grew up in a suburban environment and I love it to an extent. I don’t mind driving 20minutes to go to the grocery store. When I go to big cities it is fun for about a week but I soonmiss flowers and having a backyard and trees and the simplest things like cute birds.

雅思口语参考范文:
My father works for the Nigerian government and thus we needed to shift in the new house frequently. It was 2012 when we moved into a new house in Abuja. Before moving to this house, we were in Benin city in Nigeria. I liked the house in Abuja and it was well furnished and spacious than the former house in Benin City. This is a pretty nice cue card task for me and I will answer the other questions in brief.
We moved to Abuja as my father was transferred to this city with his responsibilities on a government job for collecting revenue for the government. It was impossible for him to continue office between the two cities. So, he shifted with the other family members in Abuja and arranged for a new home for us. We also were happy with the new home, particularly for the extended space.
I moved with my parents and two other siblings. In fact, we were mentally prepared from the moment we heard that father got a transfer. In line with shifting the house, we also had to change our schools. It was really a trouble for us, especially for our father. Almost every year, he had to manage seats for us in a new school where he intended to shift. Besides, it was really expensive as well to move the furniture and other home appliances from one city to another.
Initially, I felt irritating to move house from one place to another. But after a couple of years, we all were habituated. But now I do not have any such problems as I am a university student now and live in the dormitory. My family is still living in Abuja and my dad will retire soon. So, I am feeling relaxed a bit now.
