1. Do you enjoy cooking?
I love to cook, especially make breakfast. Because cooking has brought me a lot of sense of achievement. One day, I fried bacon and eggs, and made oatmeal in the morning. My parents were not only surprised that I could cook so many dishes, but also praised my delicious oatmeal. I felt very proud and learned a lot of experience at that time.
2. Would you like to learn cooking?
I don't want to learn how to cook. First, I think I'm a poor chef. I've tried to cook many times, but all dishes tasted terrible. Secondly, my mother is good at cooking that she always refuses me to cook, because she thinks I will cause a lot of trouble. Third, I need to spend a lot of time on study, and I have many homework to do. So these are the reasons why I don't want to learn how to cook.
3. Have you learned cooking before?
I have tried to learn cooking by myself. I did breakfast last summer. I still remember an accident when I was scrambled eggs. After heating and pouring the oil, I poured the eggs in. Suddenly, the hot oil in the pot spluttered out onto my hand. I was scalded, and the egg was also scorched. This is an unhappy experience of cooking.
4. Is it difficult to cook Chinese food?
It is hard for me to cook Chinese food. First, it's hard to control the taste of Chinese food. Sometimes I made spicy fried chicken, but it always tasted salty or sweet. Second, the steps of Chinese cuisine are hard to remember. When I made spicy fried chicken, it was hard for me to remember the order of chicken and salt, which made the chicken dry. Third, Chinese cuisine takes a long time. I found that it takes a long time to make Chinese soup every time. To be honest, I don't have that much patience.
5. Have you cooked anything special?
I remember I cooked a birthday cake for my litter brother last summer. Actually, I have just learnt cooking for three days before his birthday. Good thing that I didn’t mess up the kitchen and I successfully cooked a beautiful cake for him. My brother was very happy that day. So did I.
