1. What kind of housing do you live in?
I live with my parents in an apartment. It is a first floor house of 120 square meters with a big garden in Zibo, Shandong province. Two dogs and one cat also live with us there. There are some trees and vegetables planted in the garden by my parents, living a poetic life.
2. Do you live in a house or a flat?
Actually, with a garden we already have, living in a flat is not far from living in a house. The house might be bigger than the flat, but there are only four people in my family which means big space is not very necessary. There is also a disadvantage of living in a house. You need to spend more time cleaning the house.
3. Do you live alone or with your family?
I live with my wife and two kids in a big house just outside the second ring road. After finishing university, I lived alone for a few years before getting married. I preferred living alone, because I could do what I liked and could keep my lifestyle private. Of course, eventually I had to make a choice—get married or live alone. I think I made the right choice!
4. Could you please describe the place you live in?
Well, I live in a high-rise building where the facilities are good in urban area. There are air-conditioning and voice-controlled doors in the building. However, people who live here rarely communicate with their neighbors and they’re quite indifferent to each other
