  the general public = ordinary people who are not members of a particular group or organization例如:

  slogan = a word or phrase that is easy to remember, used for example by a political party or in advertising to attract people's attention or to suggest an idea quickly例如:

  an advertising slogan

  a campaign slogan

  The crowd began chanting anti-government slogans.

  stick in your mind = (of a memory, an image, etc.) to be remembered for a long time例如:

  One of his paintings in particular sticks in my mind.

  grow on somebody = [no passive] if somebody / something grows on you, you start to like them or it more and more例如:

  The neighborhood was beginning to grow on me.

  This song is really growing on me.

  fascinating = extremely interesting and attractive例如:

  a fascinating story/ subject

  on the edge of your seat = very excited and giving your full attention to something 例如:
