范文
Well, speaking of a special day out that didn’t cost much, I would like to talk about a trip I had two months ago to the Huashan Mountain, which is located in the Hua County, east of Xi’an.
I remember it was a hot summer day, a week before the start of my first semester in college, when I first went to Xi’an with my parents. The reason why we decided to make this trip, is out of an invitation from an old friend of my dad’s, a military officer who once worked with my dad in the army. He invited our family to take a one-day trip to the Huashan Mountain, a world-renowned scenic spot, and that’s how we ended up driving there early next morning. We got up like 5 am next morning and started driving to the foot of the mountain. By the time we arrived, it was still early. With the sun slowly rising up, we began to climb. Well, I have to tell you, the Huashan mountain actually, has more than one peak, and we chose to climb all four summits at one go. Wow, I can tell you, that was probably one of the most energy-consuming activities I’ve done during that whole year, but it was definitely worth it when seeing the stunning mountain views stretching right in front of me. The whole process was full of delightful surprises, with a lot to discover along the way. When we finally reached the highest summit of the Huashan Mountain, we felt a great sense of achievement and cheered loudly with joy.
Oh, and speaking of the reason why I think it to be one money-saving trip, it is because we only spent no more than 300 RMB for it. The money was spent mostly on beverages and the entrance tickets to the mountain. And, if you try looking at it from a different angel, you will see that we actually got more fitness by climbing the mountain than those who spend exactly the same 300RMB to get just a few hours of gym exercise.
