范文
Right in the heart of Beijing, our nation’s capital, is a collection of buildings that includes palaces and political offices that have been there for hundreds of years. The architecture is uniquely Chinese in design and absolutely beautiful to behold. The detail in the masonry and roof is like nothing else on this planet. They truly are exceptionally beautiful and impressive to look at. For many years these buildings have been photographed and displayed for all to see.
These days they are not used for much, but instead serve as tourist sites for millions who visit China each year. Tour groups are led through the halls of the palace and other buildings and these visits bring a lot of revenue to the industry. Tourists are blown away by the symmetrical design and delicate details of these buildings. They represent our long history and symbolize our rich culture.
I know about these buildings because all Chinese students are taught their history and value at school. Teachers like to point out their significance and detailed historical value.
For me, the buildings hold a nostalgic value as they represent our long, deep, cultural history. I can just imagine how many famous rulers and decision makers have come and gone in those halls. The buildings help to shape our past and also provide a reminder to the future of the importance of culture and heritage. They make me feel proud to be Chinese.
