  Part 1参考答案

  ● What do you like about your country?

I appreciate my country because it’s a melting pot of many different cultures like Italians, Chinese, Vietnamese, Mexican, and English. It’s diversity is a great example of how people live together no matter what their race, creed, or color is.

  ● What do you dislike about your country?

Well, I can’t stand that the politicians who represent my country and the people are all about themselves and not their constituents. It should be the other way around based on our constitution....right?

  ● Have you ever experienced culture shock?

Actually more than once…one time was when I was in the U.S Army stationed in West Germany. I was shocked by how the people were allowed to drink alcohol during their lunch breaks and how fast they drove, especially on the autobahn or…..should I say, highway.

  ● Do you have traditional festivals in your country?

Certainly, we have celebrations in my country. The biggest one is Christmas which is a combination of religion and traditional gift giving. However, I think people treat is more as receiving presents, especially from Santa Claus...definitely a yearly tradition.
