雅思口语练习话题:去西藏的car trip
Car trip一般都是比较愉快的经历,所以这个雅思口语话题你可以开心的跟考官分享,不过如果大家想给自己加点儿戏,聊一聊中间不那么愉快的小插曲,当然也是OK 的啊,例如被警察pull over (of the police, to make a driver or vehicle move to the side of the road),或者途中的小accident等等。
下面就来看看一位小朋友“被宰”的经历:
This topic reminds me of the time I went on a road trip to Tibet.
On our way there, we passed a huge piece of grassland where the scenery was breathtakingly gorgeous. We pulled over, and stepped outside to do some sightseeing.
There was this lake called Moon Lake, ‘cause it’s in the shape of a curved moon. The water is crystal clear. I could even see the bottom of it. And I saw a scattering of sheep on the grass, which was so cute, you know, the little white spots stood out against the green grass.
But we had a pretty tight schedule, so we couldn't spend too much time admiring the views, which is quite a bummer.
Oh, I almost forgot, there’s another experience that was not that pleasant. Here’s what happened. On the grassland, some local people offered tourists to have a ride on their horses, and they would charge you some money for that. I didn’t know that they tend to overcharge tourists, so I just got ripped off. When we went back to the parking lot, the guy working there told us, if we want to ride horses, we could pay 30 RMB to do that, but the fact is, we got charged double the price. I was like, ‘What the hell?!’
So, it’s fair to say, this car trip is a bittersweet experience.
