Well, the last journey I had with my friends was by car. The place I went was Beidaihe. The city is around 280 kilometres away from Beijing. It is most famous for its sea. There is a resort town located there. The town has some specialties and during the night times, it looks best. The entire city is well decorated and illuminated. Another amazing feature of the city is the musical fountain. It is synchronized with music.
My friends and I had a really good time there. On the first day we arrived, we were so starved that we immediately went in a restaurant. The restaurant featured fresh seafood like shrimps and crabs, things like that. The seafood tasted so well and the price was not high. We spent only 300 yuan for six persons. The next day we went up early and went to the seaside to watch the sun rise. The scenery was spectacular. The sun raised slightly from the sea lever and the whole sky was gradually illuminated. The seafood and the beautiful sunrise left me with the deepest impression.
I chose to go to Beidaihe by car is because it is a long journey. All together we have six people. It would not be very convenient for us to take taxis. Besides, we would like to leave more time for sightseeing or other activities rather than waiting for taxies.
