Describe a plan you haven’t done yet

Why you want to do it;

解析:
要求描述一个你还没有完成的计划,要说明这个计划是关于什么的,计划完成这项计划的时间和原因,还需要解释你为什么没有完成。
There’s a plan that I haven’t done yet is to learn to play the guitar. I intended to complete the plan before April 30th. However, it hasn’t started yet. It is not like any a plan or a goal related to work or study, which ultimately has to be achieved by external stress. I want to learn to play the guitar because I think singing while playing the guitar is very cool. Just like what TV series showed – Girls are easily to be attracted by the boys who play the guitar well. I wanna be attractive to attract boys as well! And seriously, I like music. It’s a great pity that I haven’t any opportunity to learn an instrument yet. As far as I am concerned, I think playing the guitar will be much easier than other instruments. That’s why I want to have this plan.
I’m so embarrassed with this plan because I haven’t done it yet. The major reason is I have to address multiple tasks at the same time during the day and spend much time in reading and studying during the night. You know, I have exams to prepare for. I’ve really searched some information about the guitars, for example, how to select a good guitar and how to arrange my daily practice. I always feel excited when I imagine that I will be singing while playing the guitar on the stage. But the truth is… Yes, I have to admit that I have some problems with time management. Actually I could start it earlier and to do something rather than never. I’m pretty sure that I have to improve my time management and efficiency when confronting with different plans.
Describe a time you had a conversation with a stranger.
You should say:
Where it happened;
When it happened;
What you talked with each other;
and explain how you felt about it.
解析:
题目要求描述一次和陌生人谈话的一次经历,需要描述这次经历的时间和地点,以及谈话内容还有自己的一些感受等。
While my journey in a train to my hometown the year before last, I had a very interesting conversation with a person named Daniel who was a journalist of a daily newspaper. I can't recall his last name but he was a man around 35 years and sat next to me on the train. I usually read books in long journeys or listen to music. That day I was reading a book by Dan Brown and the person who sat next to me asked about the book. This is how the conversation started. The conversation was mostly about writers in general, the political condition in our country, the role of an ideal leader, journalism, corruptions and the major problems of our country. I rarely continue longer conversations with strangers but that conversation I had on the train was pretty different and lasted almost 3-4 hours.
This conversation was interesting mostly because of three reasons: one, the person I had the conversation with was a smooth talking person with good knowledge and experience. Secondly, the way the conversation started and progressed was really interesting. I took my whole effort to debate on issues that I did not agree and also agreed with the notion that was similar to my viewpoint. Though this person was around 12 years senior to me, he never took any advantages of it and even he did not give any hint about it in the issued I disagreed with him. He treated me as an equally skilled opponent on many issues and listened to me very attentively. Finally, the place and circumstances when the conversation took place were really interesting and unusual. I must say, I learned many things from the opinions and experiences he shared that day.
Describe a place where you feel crowed.
You should say:
Where it is;
When do you usually go there;
What you do there;
and explain why it is crowded.
解析:
题目要求描述一个你觉得拥挤的地方,这个地方在哪里,以及时间信息,做了些什么,为什么那里会很拥挤。
Well, the first place that came to mind when I saw this topic was the Beijing Metro, because I remember it being unbelievably crowded, so that’s what I’m gonna talk to you about.
And as for when I went there, well it was actually pretty recently, I suppose probably only about two or three weeks ago, so it’s still pretty fresh in my memory.
And regarding what I was doing there, well basically, I was on my way to see a friend who lives in Beijing, and she had told me that by far the best way to get around the city was using the subway, simply because the roads were so congested. So I took her advice, but it was a huge shock when I actually got into the subway station and saw just how many people there were. I mean, I knew that there would be a lot of people, but I never expected to see that many!
Although looking back on it now, I suppose what made it worse was the fact that I was traveling during rush hour, so it was a lot more crowded than I’m sure it would have been during off-peak times. And when I saw how packed the train was when it was pulling into the station, I remember thinking there was no way I was going to be able to get on. But I was in a bit of a hurry, coz I was actually already running late, so I had no choice really but to join the huge queue of people waiting. Anyway, I did somehow manage to make it onto the train, but I was pressed up against people on all sides, so it was pretty uncomfortable to say the least! I mean, it was absolutely heaving, and I literally couldn’t move at all!
Thankfully though, I didn’t have too far to travel, coz if I remember correctly, I was only on the train for about 4 stops. And when I finally got off, I remember feeling incredibly relieved, and also very grateful that I didn’t have to go through the same experience every day.
So yeah, I guess that’s pretty much all there is to say!
