雅思口语PART TWO---Describe a useful app you like.
I’d like to talk about a useful APP in my cell-phone which is called PODCASTS.
It is a digital mediumconsisting of an episodic series of audios, videos, and radios, downloaded through websites or streamed online to a computer or mobile device, you can download a list of all the audio or video files including BBC, VOA and CNN,which means you are able to have access to their every single program and download certain episodes, files are stored locally on the user's computer or other devices ready for off-line users, the service is honestly beyond your expectation. On top of that you can update, and download any new files in the series automatically.
A friend of mine recommended it to me last year, ever since it has become a vital part of my leisure time. I am a sincere follower of the BBC radios, especially BBC4, I listen to a program called ‘Thinkning Allowed’ hosted by Laurie Taylor who explores the latest research into how society works and discusses current ideas on how we live today, I adore this programme a lot since I can use the ideas and perspectives to furnish my mind and train my way of speaking in a much more profound way. I also listen to other entertaining programs like music and comedy. As I mentioned earlier, the podcast has marvelous functions including saving the files automatically hence I usually listen to the program on my way to school or during the mini break at school.
This APP gives me access to a whole new level of understanding western civilization and it is a mind blowing way of improving English skills, I highly recommend this app to every English lovers and IELTS candidates.
