What are common mistakes when parents educate their children?

Parents make many mistakes when educating their children, but two main ones are not being involved and being too hard.
First, some parents leave the entire task of education to the school system. However, the school system can only focus on a few things, so parents must be involved so that the child is well-rounded.
Second, some parents are too hard on their children. No matter what the child does, the parent never appears pleased. The child may give up because he or she thinks that something is impossible. Instead of pushing the child to higher levels, the parent accidentally crushes the child’s motivation.
Not being involved and being too hard are common mistakes made by parents when educating their children.
