(1)The woman is supposed to go to a school play on Friday night. But the man cannot cover her shift like he has agreed to because he has a rehearsal for the concert.
(2)She could cancel her plan tonight and watch it another day by herself. It is playing for another week.
(3)Or the man could talk to the bandleader and explain he could not go tonight.
4、观点提示

1)The man can go to the rehearsal. And the play will be on for another week.
2) You may talk about some disadvantage of the second solution. For example, some songs are new to him and it is their last practice. He might sound bad at the show.
(2)second one
1) The woman can go to the play.
2) You may talk about some disadvantage of the first solution. For example, the woman cannot to with her friends. The man will feel guilty for not doing the right thing, since it is his fault that he forgets about the rehearsal.
