1) There are much more information covering almost every topic on the Internet. You don't have to go through so many books for information.
2) It is very convenient and time-saving if you do research on the Internet. You can just sit at home and click the mouse instead of spending a lot of time searching the library for books.

1) The information in academic books is more trustworthy. It's hard for us to tell which is true and which is not from the Internet.
2) The information presented in academic books is more systematic and detailed compared to that from the Internet.
