College students should be allowed to keep pets in their dormitories.
I don’t think students should be allowed to keep pets in their dormitories.
第一句点明立场，不该被允许在宿舍养宠物。
It is undeniable that pets are great friends of people and they can bring us a lot of joy and happiness, but dormitories are not the appropriate place to keep pets.
毋庸置疑，宠物是人类的好朋友，但是宿舍不是适合养宠物的地方。
One reason is that it will turn the dorm into a mess. My roommate Lucy used to keep a hamster in our dorm. It would make little noises at night and we always had trouble falling asleep; moreover, it was smelly, sometimes when I came back from classes, I had to open the door and windows for a long time to get rid of the bad smell.
一是会把宿舍弄得一团糟。然后举一个例子，我的室友Lucy在宿舍养过一只小仓鼠，结果晚上各种噪音让人睡不着觉。另外还有臭臭的味道，我一回宿舍就得打开门窗通风半天。
The other reasonis that the primary job for students is study and taking care of pets would take up too much time.
另外，学生的首要工作是学习，养宠物会花去太多时间。
