In the conversation, the woman faces a problem. She is too busy to work out in the gym and she is very upset for not being able to exercise. The man gives her two possible solutions. First, he suggests she ride her bike to school. It could be a good exercise, so she wouldn't need to go to the gym. He also suggests thatshe get upearly to go to the gym. I would prefer the second solution becausecycling will waste too much time on the road. She doesn't want to waste her precious time, which she can otherwise spend on her studies. Also, getting up early and exercising is a good way to keep her healthy and boost her energy. She'll be able to concentrate on her studies better after working out in the gym.
