  首先,得承认这些个人例子的确是很不错的feature。可是,一篇750单词的文章中包含着十多种不一样的feature,再加各种搭配组合式写法,那就更多了;所以,也并非是例子就写,还得结合文章中心思想(文章后面框内就有中心思想)。10月真题的主旨是让孩子多阅读,从题目中也能看得出,但是例子内容是作者错过了侄子侄女的生日和演出,同阅读的关系不见得那么大。

  从这一段就知道上面侄子、侄女的例子的功能了,和作者对于阅读的执着的态度的对比,那么就跟我们此文的主题特别有关系。所以,不能看到例子就写,而且要看看上下文关系。

  同样的情况也发生在6月考题中:文章选自US.News 2014年的一篇文章,A Carbon Tax Beats a Vacuum Ban,主题是吸尘器和碳排放税

  开头第一段:

  Starting in September, the European Union will ban vacuum cleaners using more than 1,600 watts of power, with the limit slated to be lowered to 900 watts by 2017. This ban won't just affect a handful of the worst offenders. According to the European Commission, the average vacuum cleaner sold today uses 1,800 watts

  这一段又是让学生在紧张的考场中激动的一个例子,有数据,同时估计学生也会想起老师教过的套路,于是乎就写了,这样就比较的草率。

  这段情况同10月的例子是差不多的,都是引子,铺垫交代背景。这里的内容比起10月的题目更容易误导学生,因为此题的主旨是:A Carbon Tax Beats a Vacuum Ban。此段介绍了Ban的内容;可是再仔细读读,或者同其他feature比一比,就显得没那么重要了。据6月考生反馈,有人写了,分析的还不错,三项分数中也是第一项分数为5,后面两项都是高分。往往遇到这类情况,学生估计也是挺无奈的。

  关于阅读,还是希望学生能够重视起来,三项分数能够较为均匀。下面说一说阅读的注意事项:

  第一,把握主旨,先看文后框。刚才两个例子就看出,阅读全文时,要心中带着主旨去读;而且文后框中也写到要挑选论证性的强,说服力大的feature,选的时候参照主旨关系;

  第二,学会段落大意概括,把握分论点以及important ideas;这一部分也会在后续文章中展开说;

  第三,老生常谈的精读,虽然阅读文章都是新闻报刊上的文章,阅读理解的难度系数不大,但是精读也是有必要的,尤其针对之后要用进学生作文中的feature段落的阅读。
