大作文:
In many parts of world, Children have more freedom than they used to have. Is this a positive or negative development?在世界很多地方,小孩获得了与以往相比更多的自由,这是积极还是消极的发展。
参考范文:
Many parents today have trusted their children with much more independence in their lives than in the past. While some people think that it might lead to desirable results, I tend to hold concerns towards this trend.
One of my major concerns is safety. Life is complicated nowadays with more potential dangers, but children are not always able to take sensible precautions, because they have less experience of and therefore less awareness of adverse Consequences. For example, they may have never come across robbery, so they may assume that this can never happen to them. Parents should, thus, intervene to help their children understand and manage risk.
Another concern is in considering long-term interests. Young people sometimes have a tendency to prioritize short-term needs and wants over long-term goals. They may, for instance, choose to attend a sporting event or social occasion rather than study for an exam that is weeks in the future. Parents should help their children by insisting that certain responsibilities are met before
It is true that parents should allow their adolescent children a degree Of autonomy, because children can learn from their own mistakes and get to the world better if given some chances. But young people have the inborn features that they are always curious about new experience without being aware Of possible consequences in many cases, and considering the fact that they are well exposed to vile behavior and violent images in the media and on the Internet these days, it is right that parent should take a step back and reconsider the situation.
In summary, parents have a responsibility to both care for and prepare their children before they are granted certain privileges and responsibilities at the age of 18. Having some more intervention in children's life is actually helping them become adequate adults later on. 309 words

According to the chart, the public health spending made up a crucial spending. Compared with the USA, which spent 8%, the highest percentage among these five countries, Japan spent the least, 5.4%. And Germany even consumed twice on it than on private health.
In terms of the private spending on health, on which people in the other four countries generally spent less, the USA, serving as an exception, consumed the most, reaching 9%, even higher than the spending of public health, while Germany represented the lowest one, 2%.
All these five countries spent greatly on health, both in public and in private. It accounted for 12% in the USA, which was the highest figure among them, followed by that of Germany and that of France. And the lowest proportion, about 5%, belonged to Japan.
