众所周知，雅思大作文题目都是由题干和写作要求(疑问句或者陈述句)组成的，比如：
题目1:
Some people think that governments should invest more in teaching science.
Do you think the advantages outweigh its disadvantages?
题目2:
Some people prefer to do a stable job, while others suppose that changing jobs is good for young people.
Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
显然，为了切题，题干和写作要求都应该在文章主题句中体现出来。否则，写出的主体段就会出现放在哪个题目下都合适的尴尬局面：轻者考官认为偏题，重者考官则可能判为模版，分数可想而知。那么，如何使题目关键信息都集中在主题句中呢?这就需要两个概念：“关键词”和“最终结果/原因”。
第一
关键词
比如题目1，很明显，该题目“关键词”就是“invest in teaching science”，然而有的题目则没有这么明显，这时就可以通过以上方法找出关键词。
比如：
Because of traffic and housing problems in the cities, the government encourages business to move to the rural areas.
Do you think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?
关键词如果是“traffic and housing problems”的话，那就可以问：“这个题目问的是：原因是交通和住房问题还是其它的吗”，显然不是，同样方法找出关键词是“business move to the rural areas”。
第二
最终原因/结果
invest in teaching science(理科)——>理科科目(subjects)就会增加/学习理科科目的人数就会增加——>理科相关科目从业者(practitioners)就会增加——>促进国家相关行业发展
那么，以“关键词”为起点的思路就写出来了，那么这个题目中的“最终结果”就是：“促进国家相关行业发展”。另外，需要注意的是此过程中箭头右边务必是箭头左边的最直接结果，否则，在论证过程中会出现逻辑漏洞。
然后，要确保“关键词”和“最终结果”都出现在文章中，该论点的主题句就可以写成：
If government funding is invested heavily in science, the corresponding sectors of a country would be improved a lot.
比如题目3:
Many people these days work in other countries, taking their family with them.
Do you think the advantages outweigh its disadvantages?
take family with them——>工作时分心(be distracted)——>工作表现不好(poor performance of their duties)——>令老板失望(be disappointed)
根据“关键词”+“最终结果”，该题目的主题句是：带家人出国工作令其老板失望(The decision to move to another country with their family can make the bosses be disappointed)。不难看出，这样的主题句仍然会使读者困惑，达不到段落主题句应有的效果，因为从关键词直接跨到最终结果跨度太大。
The decision to move to another country with their family may be highly likely to distract those managers from work, which would make the bosses be disappointed.
除此之外，段落与段落之间如果存在逻辑关系，还可以加上相应的表示转折关系、递进关系、并列关系等的连接词，以加强段落之间的逻辑关系。
