If we believe that the whole green world relies on the all walks of life’s efforts, we must be aware of that our community and local environment tend to be more associated with our own and individual’s concerning who belong to this certain community. Among various methods to deal with issue of protecting and improving our local natural environment, three main ones are frequently mentioned, among which I give priority to plant more trees and create more parks within our community.
Obviously, planting trees and creating more parks can directly perfect the green rate of this community, lowing the air pollution and acting as a natural fence and buffer strip for noise pollution. As we all know, in modern new and advanced construction design idea, the central park and green land have been the indispensable part for living community for the majority of residents regard it as a not only public activity area but also their private protection homeland. It can effective divide the living zone with the nosy and air-polluted main road, working center or even factories, protecting their living filed and promising it relatively quite and clean. Better still, if all communities can carefully devote to producing and advancing their community environment, the whole local natural environment can be promoted naturally, contributing to a better society for all residents.
Additionally, compared with other two alternatives, planting and creating parks is the proper method, which is practical for community residents and easy to see the effect immediately. The method of persuading local shops to stop providing plastics bags to customers is hard to practice for the reason that business rely on their benefits and pursue profits. So it is hard for most money-driven business to sacrifice their profits for the sake of environment. This highly relies on their awareness of protecting environment and their moral level. The other method by increasing access to public transportation to reduce the number of automobiles on local roads apparently depends on the governments’ policy and practice force, which community individuals have no power or right to implement this kind of action. On the contrary, the only effective method we, as ordinary citizens and community dwellers, can do is to plant more trees and followers in our community, making it protection park for our natural environment.
To summarize, the best choice and most effective method we can do for natural environment in our local community is to plant more trees and create more parks.
