The lecturer casts doubt on the reading statement that the native language is threatened by three factors. In the listening material, the professor uses three specific points to support his idea.
Firstly, although the reading passage indicates that only about 25% of children speak their mother tongue, the professor argues in the lecture that such statistic is unreliable. According to a survey by an anthropologist, most young generation are able to speak the local language clearly, but in different style to their grandparents’.
Moreover, despite the statement in the reading that in order to get a good job in future, parents expect their children to learn international English, the professor contends that bilingualism is really good and some parents are aware of this aspect. And the reality is that some fishers only speak local dialect.
Finally, the reading passage asserts that the native language is not spoken in television program or other medias, yet the professor contradicts that current main media is internet which has greater influence. Therefore, low exposure in TV cannot represent that this language has not been widely used.

到老了会有一定的积蓄，也许不愁吃不愁穿了，可是再也不会像年轻时那样拥有一颗好奇热情的心了，这时候虽然可以不用为钱而发愁，可是大多数人已经没有心情。
即便如此从我个人角度而言，我想我是会选择在年轻的时候出国旅游的。这种感觉就好像你小的时候很向往一个玩具，你很努力的存钱希望得到它，但你长大后却发现已没有当初的那种感觉，很多事情都是这样它适合于特定的年龄阶段，一但过去就不再一如我们逝去的时间，所以要出国旅游趁年轻

The elderly always persuade us that money should be saved when we met some trouble in future. Maybe it is true in that age and time but I totally regard, in this time and age, money should be spent over to fulfill our need.
Even though there will be funnier in future, but the feeling of this moment are not replaceable forever. People have been getting older since they born and their physical status are getting worse. How can we expect a 70-year old guy jump off the airplane and scream out their love to the world? How could they enjoy the white land of Himalayas and praise the God? Unlike the older, youth are totally different. All kinds of physical situation are well enough to allow them to taste the most delicious food and see the most wonderful sceneries. So we just go wherever we want for vocation when we are young, leaving nothing regretful in our life.
Aside from body feeling, younger vacation brings more surprising possibilities that we would not achieve otherwise. My cousin, who has been Switzerland as vacation two years ago, make friend with a local girl. Surprisingly, not only did they become lover, I also receive the invitation to attend their wedding recently. There are large number of young people who gains unexpectedly in their foreign trip and most of their lives are going better. Thus, even a bit of chance in young age is more meaningful.
It seems that people should spare no effort to studying and working in their young age so that they could truly enjoy themselves after retire. But how could we forecast the day after retire? Life is irreversible and we don’t know whether our travel plans will be changed for certain reasons. Thus, the dream we hesitate now may not be realized forever.
Therefore, given physical advantages, appealing chances and unpredictable future, there is no need to wait for the future traveling.
