Groups or organizations are an important part of some people’s lives. Why are groups or organizations important to people? Use specific reasons and examples to explain your answer.
In modern society, more and more people regard groups or organizations as an important part of their lives. There are many instances in our daily life that can verity this.
First of all, during one person’s life, from birth to death, he cannot live alone without communicating or working with other people. From a social point of view, this is a communicative world in which people have contact with others. One single person’s power is so limited. Only when people organize together and cooperate, can they change their lives. To illustrate this, there are several examples that are very persuasive: People work with colleagues in companies and other types of organizations. People go to hospitals when they are sick and they go shopping in supermarkets or shopping malls. A lot of governmental or nongovernmental groups, such as the Costumer [Consumer? Customer?] Association and the Red Cross, can help people when they are in trouble.
The second reason is that people do learn knowledge and information from groups and organizations. Students study in schools, learning [acquiring] professional knowledge and skills. People who work for groups or organizations can surely make different kinds of friends. More friends equal more useful information and choices. People can learn from each other and make up for each other’s deficiencies through communicating.
Furthermore, people who are in groups and organizations are happier than those who work alone, although there is no doubt that there are some disadvantages for people working together. For example, they might feel jealous and mistrustful. But people do need mutual help and encouragement. When a group of people work for the same objective, they can create a more harmonious atmosphere and feel safer. Their work and their life will be easier.
One can never live and work by himself, unless, of course, he lives in the Sahara desert. After understanding the three reasons above, it’s quite clear that groups or organizations are very important to people.
1、One can never live and work by himself, unless, of course, he lives in the Sahara desert.
2、When a group of people work for the same objective, they can create a more harmonious atmosphere and feel safer. 这里a more harmonious atmosphere是一种和谐的气息。
3、Furthermore, people who are in groups and organizations are happier than those who work alone, although there is no doubt that there are some disadvantages for people working together.
