Some people believe that university students should be required to attend classes. Others believe that going to classes should be optional for students. Which point of view do you agree with? Use specific reasons and details to explain your answer.
Some people may believe that going to classes should be optional, but I disagree. I don't understand how university students can expect to learn anything if they don't attend classes. Personal experience can help people learn about themselves and the world outside the classroom, but when it comes to learning about academic subjects, students need to be in class.

一、语言表达
本文的语言使用非常优美，句式富于多变，长短句搭配合理，运用了大量从句和非谓语动词结构，使考官眼前一亮。而在用词上，文中词汇运用十分地道，表达生动，凸显了作者的很厉害的语言功底。这些都使得文章更加吸引考官的眼球。
1. Personal experience can help people learn about themselves and the world outside the classroom, but when it comes to learning about academic subjects, students need to be in class.
这句话是一个并列句的结构，中间用连词but来连接。这种结构常用于两个事物比较的文章。But前面陈述一个事物在一种情况下的优点，而but后面陈述另一种情况下另一事物的优点。
短语when it comes to 的意思是“当提到...，说到...”，用来引出问题的一个方面，从而引出一种观点或一种现象，类似的表达还有“As for”和“in terms of ”。
2. The best teachers do more than just go over the material from the textbook.
此句中，短语more than just的意思是“不仅仅”，一般用more than就可以了，这种结构可以指出事物在不为人知的另一个属性，起到引出论点和强调的作用。动词短语Go over表示“从头到尾看”，类似的用法还有“go through”。

此句中, being at place on time 是一个动名词结构，这个非谓语动词结构在句中做主语。With引导的介词短语结构做状语，用来补充说明主语。句中真正的谓语是prepare。Prepare sb for sth的意思是“为某人准备某物”，在托福作文中，后面的sth通常会用career，future，job这些常用话题。
