Some people prefer to work for a large company. Others prefer to work for a small company. Which would you prefer? Use specific reasons and details to support your choice.
Working in a large company rather than a small one is more appealing for me. Larger companies have more opportunities for advancement, training, and prestige than small companies do.

In a large company, employees, including myself, begin at an entry-level position and have many opportunities to work up to the top. I could start in the mailroom, or even getting coffee for my bosses. Once I know the company I can apply for a managerial position and work up from there.

一、 语言表达
本文语言精准，句式严谨，具有很强的正式性议论文体的语言特点。作者用到了很多主从句式，使每句话都做到严谨，信息丰富。不失为一篇考场佳作。
1. Larger companies have more opportunities for advancement, training, and prestige than small companies do. 这句话是个引领全文的精华句子，由于其宏观举例的到位把正文段落的分论点一一总结了。
2. I could start in the mailroom, or even getting coffee for my bosses.这句话用了省略，完整的句子是I could start in the mailroom, or I could even start getting coffee for my bosses.另外值得一提的是，本句话是个虚拟语气，是作者在对将来发生的事情进行推测和想象，通篇也运用了很多的虚拟语气，如For example, I could work in sales, in marketing, in distribution, in shopping, or in any department for which I apply. I would receive training in a variety of positions and would have valuable experience with inter-departmental work. 但是这两句话相对第一句是个长难句。对行业的举例扩长了句子in sales, in marketing, in distribution, in shopping, or in any department for which I apply. 之后还用了一个小定语从句修饰department。而第二句是个并列句，其中receive training 是获得培训的意思，类似的用法如收到好的教育就是receive better education。
3. In a small company, these opportunities would be far fewer, even nonexistent. 这里面的亮点为fewer, 机会小我们通常的表达为the chances are really small, 然而这里的far fewer是个更加新颖的用法，以及后面的后置修饰even nonexistent。
4. If I were to work in a small company, I would have to endlessly explain and introduce the company to other people. 这里又是一个虚拟语气，对将来虚拟，其中endlessly explain体现了作者对这种解释不耐烦的程度。
5. Nor would I be as proud to work for a small company with which most people are unfamiliar---unless the small companies were my own.这句话是个倒装，否定词Nor提前，句子部分倒装，所以助动词would放在了前面，主要作用是强调。之后有个定语从句with which most people are unfamiliar---unless the small companies were my own.
二、 逻辑结构
