To improve the quality of education, universities should spend more money on salaries for university professors.
As the qualities of education in the universities become unconvincing than before, an increasing amount people nowadays are concerning whether universities can improve. Most of them tend to believe that in order to improve the qualities of education, universities should spend more money on professors’ salaries, while others state that the universities should spend it on other fields. Therefore, the controversial issue that which field should be invested in to improve the qualities of education sparked off a heated debate. However, as for me, there is no doubt that universities should give the priority to vocational training and recruiting new professors. It is universally acknowledged that recruiting new professors for the universities can improve the qualities of education. In most universities, many professors are in middle-aged or even older. Some of them are reluctant to learn or acquire new things anymore because they think that they are good enough. Recruiting more new professors not only can help and motivate older professors to learn something new, but also can enhance their educational advantage over other universities. As you can predict, it is unavoidable that it will bring a virtuous competition between the younger professors and older professors. Younger ones can draw on older’ experience and older ones can contact and learn new concepts, which can improve the qualities of education entirely. No one could disavow that holding the regular vocational training for professors can prominently improve the education qualities. In contemporary society, knowledge is changing in a stagger rate. Thus, many professors cannot obtain the latest knowledge to improve themselves, which will definitely lead to the decline of education qualities because the students cannot absorb anything new. Therefore, the best way to improve the qualities of education is that let professors acquire the latest knowledge in time—receiving the vocational training regularly. After recharging, professors can instill a large of new things to students, which can give a competitive edge to both professors and students and it also can make a huge progress in the qualities of education as well.
