Seen from the positive aspects, an increasingly integrated global economy indicates more reciprocal trade, free flow of capital, and the tapping of beneficial foreign labor markets. Thanks to the constructive strategic partnership among different nations, different nation’s immense economic value could be generated via the mutual complement of manifold resources. Also，the promotion of cultural communication is an effective way to smooth away the prejudice and misunderstanding and thus create a harmonious international relationship，the prosperity of international tourism is a good case in point.
Notwithstanding all that，some problems inevitably ensue. First，globalization might be detrimental to the maintenance of national identities. More precisely，a cultural attachment of one nation for another may trigger the decline of traditional culture, national pride and patriotism. To illustrate, frequent contact with foreign languages will reduce the uniqueness and trait of some lesser-known languages and make the world culture less rich and gorgeous than before. Further, when some rich countries invest large sums of money in developing industries in poverty-stricken countries, it might make impoverished nations become over-dependent on the donors.
