The three worse diet danger zones for vulnerable slimmers have been revealed in new research.

Those trying to lose weight are at the highest risk of lapsing in their efforts at 11.01am, 3.14pm and 9.31pm - now known as 'snack o' clock'.

As many as 750 calories can be consumed in total during these periods - impinging any dieter's chances of shifting the pounds.

Meanwhile, coffee shops have been named as the single biggest danger most likely to cause a dieting lapse - because temptation comes from calorific foods and drinks.

Nutritionists also say dieters should opt out of hot drink rounds at work because it puts them under peer group pressure to consumer unnecessary calories with colleagues.

Skipping breakfast is another huge mistake dieters can make, and this is why 11.01am is the first dangerous time of the day as 'elevenses' become impossible to resist.
