Academic学业的，学术的(偏向教育有关，与技术性相对，且可以表示纯理论)
Eg:所有事情都是纸上谈兵 The whole thing’s academic now.
Ps:据记载，当年苏格拉底，柏拉图就在academy这个地方讲学传道。后来这个名词也就引申出了学术这一含义
Scholarly学术的(偏向于文学造zhi方面)
Eg:He is a very scholarly young man.
Collegiate专指大学的，学院的

College vs university(英国/美国英语)
College:在英美里都可以指中学后的教育.
英：college-提供高等或者专门的教育。
美：university-除开设给予基础学位课程还会给出高等学位课程。
College(英/美)在表示上大学的时候，都可以不加定冠词the
Eg:My son has gone away to college.
University:
英：my son has gone away to university.
美：my son has gone away to the university.(美语用法时候，应该加上the)
Theoretical强调理论的，偏向假设性强。
Eg:
It is the theoretically possible for him to overrule theirdecision,but highly unlikely.
按理来说他可以否定他们的决定，但是可能性很小。
