1.Some people think the technology makes life complex, so we should make
life simpler without using the technology. Agree or disagree?
In my view, technology has made life easier and at the same time, it has made our life somehow complicated.
We can't say it has made our life too complex because it is of the person's decisiveness to choose whether they want an easy or a complicated life, but it would fit to say it has made our life complicated in a certain manner to the extent that we have no control over some of its outcomes. For instance, technology has a role to play in air pollution and there is no way we can run away from pollution since it is a worldwide issue and as long as air pollution is there, each and every individual alive on this planet will suffer the consequences of this bad side of technology whether they like it or not.
Although most agree that technology has made our life easier, they have failed to make the most use out of it and its benefits. The benefits of technology go beyond transportation, communication and entertainment. Especially in the 21st century, technology is found in our daily life. It has become an answer to most of our questions and a solution to most of our problems. It creates the atmosphere of comfort in a depressing era. Technological products such as cars, refrigerators and stoves are some of the good examples to show how technology can simplify one's life.
In general, we can conclude that technology is a way of making life easy.
2.Some people think that computers and the Internet are more important for a child's education than going to school. But others believe that schools and teachers are essential for children to learn effectively. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
Using technology has broke new ground in educating offspring, while some still think that traditional teaching and learning methods are more effective and efficient. In my perspective, the majority of offline learners will be provided with more opportunities to develop their interpersonal skills, rather than online learners.
On the one hand, studying aids and cyberspace have become widely available to adolescents which perhaps, changed the way youngsters interact with each other, especially with their loved ones. Besides, thanks to advanced technology, kids enjoy learning more such as using laptops and online presentations to make studying environment more interactive and compelling. Furthermore, Internet connection makes distance learning more accessible and effortless than ever before. Taking online courses is a prime example as the traditional curriculum does not provide much to feed the hunger for knowledge of specific field.
On the other hand, it seems that there is no substitute for a face-to-face interaction between students and teachers due to its practical communication. Not only that but also getting schooled prepared students for future life situation by giving them necessary skills and knowledge to function as an individual member of society. In this protected environment, pupils can study intensively with caring and well-informed teachers who also promote the student’s physical, psychological, intellectual and emotional development. We all know that offline courses give learners superior quality that make it more expensive and cost-prohibitive for some to apply than online courses, especially in developing countries
Overall, though studying via Internet and devices gain accessibility in education, I believe studying under the guidance of real teachers should be preferred for everyone.
