Tamarisk trees will be burned down;however these trees’seed will still be spread into the river and flow to some place where they can establish their population.
Tamarisk will salinize the soil,which makes the soil unsuitale for native trees to grow.Thus the native trees are unable to thrive quickly enough to block sunlight necessary for the growth of tamarisk.
Beetles are unsuccessful for they will not eat Tamarisk the whole year around.In some months,the beetles will consume a lot of tamarisk ,while in other periods they will eat less or stop eating.
