Do you agree or disagree with the following statement:
Taking a lot of time to make an important decision is often considered as a bad quality for a person, but in fat, it is a good quality for a person to have.
这道题和我们8月份机经中的题(第10套W2)非常相似。听过老师做机经直播的同学对这道题应该有印象：
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: One quality that a successful leader must have is to make decisions quickly; when a leader takes too much time to make decisions, he will be seen as inefficient to the people he leads.
你同不同意以下陈述：一个成功的领导者所具有的品质是能迅速做决定;当一个领导者花费太多时间做决定的时候，他会被下属认为是无效率的。
这两道题，其实要讨论的就是一个事：我们该如何做决定。我们的机经题则加上了一个限制条件：对于一个领导者而言，快速做决定是不是一种优秀的品质。
对于making decisions这种事，其实快和慢，客观来讲都各有优劣。820原题的陈述，包含了一个转折：花很长时间来做重要的决定会被认为是一种不好的品质，但是事实上是一个人好品质。前半句是一个让步，我们可以对这半句先思考一下，为什么做重要的决定太慢会认为是一种不好的品质?最直接的原因，大家能够想到的应该是有关效率。商场如战场，在生意场上，一个领导如果太磨叽恐怕确实耽误时机，我们可以借用8月机经中“第10套W2”这道题的表达，来展开这个让步。
To be honest, in some cases, taking a long time to make a decision might be regarded as indecisive, especially when we take business leaders into account. Inside a group, the leader is often given the priority to make the most important decisions. Everyone is supposed to obey his orders all the time. Actually, the art of leadership involves a series of complicated elements that are by no means easy to manipulate. An outstanding leader should master some essential leading techniques and understand the basic theories in leadership. An effective leader is supposed to be one who comes to a decision and a resolution quickly. After all, what most people want to see is determined, decisive action and firm leadership. A team with a united soul is more likely to win. A leader who manages to seize every ephemeral opportunity may win the hearts of all team members and encourage them to conquer obstacles lying in the way to the final success.
看，虽然这道题和机经中的题看似不同，但却完美的用上了机经题目里面的论证方法。大家注意，以上内容我们可以再丰富一下作为我们的文章的一个主体段。即使是新题，我们依旧有招。
当然，只有一个让步段肯定不够，我们就按照题目的套路，再来一个转折。就是接下来承认，其实对于大多数人来说愿意多花些时间来做重要的决定其实很多时候不失为一种优秀品质：在日常生活中我们需要做一些重要决定时，我们需要谨慎思考，并且可以咨询多方有经验的人从而做出最佳选择。那么我们就来再来论述一下题目里面后半句：it is a good quality for a person to have.
When we encounter some important issues we have to decide, albeit taking longer time to reach the final decision, pondering all the potential advantages and disadvantages of every decision as possible as one can is worthwhile. Throughout one's lifetime, many important decisions have to be made. They are all critical to determine a person's future. Some choices might bring about unfavorable consequences. With the aim of getting the best results, what is needed is thoughtful consideration and objective reasoning regarding important issues. It is sometimes beyond one's individual power to make the correct decisions alone and so it is a good idea to include others in this process. When the moment of decision-making arrives, one should always bear in mind that being prudent and cautious is the wise behavior. Sources of support and guidance are available for him to turn to. Those who are more familiar with his character often come up with the most useful ideas. Meanwhile, in the process of consulting others, people can figure out what he or really need.
经过这两边的论述，其实我们就是选择了agree with the statement. 开头和结尾其实我们还没有写。不过，开头和结尾可以更简单，因为有“有套路”。
开头可以再分成三个部分，分别是背景信息、引出话题及个人立场。而结尾，就是对主体段内容的一个总结，就是对于开头段的一个转述。同学们，这些给你们留下思考的空间，自由发挥一下。
