Which course about history are you interested in? Science history, art history or history of 20th century ?

As far as I’m concerned, I’m interested in taking the course of science history due to the following reasons. Firstly, I’m fond of science and good at learning this subject. In order to know more about science, I think it’s necessary to acquire some information and knowledge about the history of science. So taking this course will definitely help answer the questions in my mind efficiently. Besides, science history will also give me some directions based on which I will be able to decide what specific major I’d better take in the university.

Do you like to make a plan with friends about social activities in advance or plan it when you attend it ?

For me, I will absolutely choose to make a plan about the social activities in advance. First of all, I feel at ease if I plan something ahead of time. For instance, I used to hold parties with my friends at the end of every semester. I am always the person who organizes everything, such like performances, food , drinks and even surprises. Planning in advance can often result in a more successful activity. In addition, when things turn out to be satisfying and even perfect, the organizer can usually get a strong sense of accomplishment.
Task 3
Reading：学生建议在学校开办child care center 一来可以帮助老师和学生看孩子;二来可以帮忙教孩子。
Listening：男生赞成 Because 1)：可以减轻有孩子的教师及学生的负担，而且费用比起城里的托管班便宜，可以节省开销;2)还可以给男生所在的children education department的学生提供实习机会，有利于获得教学经验，可以写进简历，应聘时被录用几率高。
Task 4

Listening：举例一种鱼仍然保留祖先的某些生理特点。生活在shallow ocean,既可以用鳃呼吸，又 拥有strong structure like bones of land animals to support their weight，可以在陆地上觅食。
Task5
Problem: 女生在物理课被选为负责人与书店新工作时间上发生冲突。
Solution 1：放弃新工作，但物理课组织工作没有钱;
Solution 2：老师安排另一个人帮她分担组织工作，担心那个人跟她合不来。
Task6
18世纪的两种提升照片效果的照相技术。第一种方法是拍很多照片，然后再合成，因为容易模糊，所以要拍多张照片来得到完美图像。第二种方法是用水彩或油画的技术来上色，例如全家拍照就可以用上色的方式把黑白照片变成彩色照片。
