The reading puts forward three causes that can explain the low production of rhino in parks. However, the professor refutes these three strongly.
Firstly, the reading claims infertility results from the alfalfa and hay in animal fodder, which increasing rhino’s hormone. In contrast, the professor argues that infertility can be cured by regulating hormone.
Secondly, in the reading, it suggests rhinos develop foot disease for often walking on the hard surface. However, the professor disagrees. Advanced radiographic image equipment can detect the early anomaly of the bone and feet, which can heal the rhinos.
Finally, the reading suggests brain disorder in the newborn rhino makes them cannot live long. But the professor suggests that the reason for the little rhino’s brain disorder is that its mother is so old that it carries toxic chemical element. So letting younger rhino bear child is one of the solution.

首先，政府的介入非常必要。一是个人和企业在做事的时候往往只从自己的短期利益出发，很少顾及公共利益。二是府规章制度的执行力和强制力更好，可以更确保长期的环境保护。
其次，只有政府才有足够的财力和能力制定一系列全面可持续的制度措施来保护环境，包括排污指标，超标罚款，污水厂设立，环境保护意识宣传等。要环环相扣，而不是单一的规定。
诚然，政府的规章制度在制定和执行方面有一定的滞后，总在问题出现后才出现相关制度或法令。虽然如此，但是可以通过设置相关的职能部门进行改进，而且依靠企业或个人的自觉性来解决环境问题更不可靠。
