Under the current competitive society, how to achieve success has never failed to arouse deep concern and interest among the general public. Thereof, a good deal of accomplished businessmen and elites are strong believers of the claim that to be a successful person, one must be open to new ideas and willing to change his or her mind. Towards such a complicated issue, I am in favor of the above claim for the following reasons.

Nowadays, people’s opinions may differ when it comes to the issue whether it is of vital importance to have rules about the types of clothing that people are permitted to wear at work and at school. Some people would claim that clothing is an identity at work or school. However, in my opinion, I am still in favor of the idea that rules on the types of clothing are unnecessary for the following reasons.

Admittedly, nowadays some people think that it is a waste of money to travel and we should save money for our future to have a better life, we cannot deny the fact that traveling is becoming more and more popular among people. In my opinion, it is better to spend money on traveling than just save it in the bank.

4. Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? A university should focus more on its facilities, such as libraries, computers or laboratory rather than on hiring famous teachers.
Cradles of cultivating talents, universities are supposed to provide most high-caliber education. Responding to the expectation, universities have to think the issue over. Compared with hiring more teachers, from my own perspective, keeping facilities and resources in the universities most advanced and updated is more essential not only for students but also for renowned professors.

5. It is important to read and watch news presented by people whose views are different from our own than read and watch views presented by people whose views are similar to our own.
With the increasingly diverse means of acquiring information, it has become a common phenomenon that we are exposed to conflicting ideas about a single event, which has aroused deep social concern. A growing body of average people are wondering whether it is more important to read and watch news presented by people whose opinion is different from your own view than by people whose opinion are similar to yours. From my perspective, it is advisable to be a good listener to the different viewpoints.
