T1 What suggestion would you like to give to a foreign friend who wants to study in your country? Explain how this suggestion could help your friend, include reasons and details to support your response.

T3 阅读：学校打算让在校生和已经工作的学生(alumni)交流一下，了解下自己领域的相关东西，讨论career和activities。
听力：女生觉得这样做不好。(1)因为学生很忙，没有时间拜访;(2)而且相关的advice可以从家人或者professor那得到，太多的建议只会更加confusing。
T4 【课文要点】：Negative ideation: a method used by people to resist desires by adding something negative. 就是说通过联系不好的情况来resist坏东西，帮人解决坏习惯。brood parasites(孵育寄生动物): animals that use a unconventional tactic to let other animals hatch their offspring for them. !
【教授举例】： 教授举的他自己戒除巧克力的例子。教授loves chocolate bar because it is tasty, but chocolate is not good. So he used the method of negative ideation to refuse chocolate. 后来whenever he wanted to buy chocolate bar he would think it is associate with mud which is the mixture of dirt and water，来reduce the temptation，就戒了he stopped buying。
T5 【学生困难】：一个男生要带一群孩子去museum看恐龙化石，但是那天他答应了朋友去图书馆帮他理书，时间冲突了。
【解决方案】：两个解决方案。
方案1：早上带孩子们去museum, 下午帮朋友去理书，但是museum下午有个关于恐龙的special presentation, 这样孩子们就看不了了。
方案2：让朋友再找个人代替他去帮忙理书find someone to replace him。 【问题】：Briefly summarize the problem and two possible solutions. Then state which solution you recommend and explain why.
T6 在讲座中，教授谈到了动物之间的合作。
In the lecture, the professor talks about the cooperation among animals. He offers us an example to illustrate it. Usually mothers won’t allow anyone to get close to their cubs. But sometimes mother monkeys would let younger females in the group to help take care of their babies. This happens mainly for two reasons. First of all, this way mother monkeys would have time to do more important things like getting food. Secondly, this also offers the younger females a very good opportunity to learn to take care of baby monkeys, it’s sort of like a training for them, so that they are more likely to become good mothers themselves in the future.

W1 Reading:使用分散剂(dispersant)对消除oil spill 对海洋造成的破坏作用到底有没有效?文章认为无效：
1、不能彻底解决问题，因为只是使石油颗粒变小，burning才能彻底消除;
2、分散剂对海洋里动物有害;
3、产生有毒物质。
Listening: 有效：
1、焚烧只在特定环境下才有效，当海洋风浪较大或流速过快时不能解决问题，分散剂把石油颗粒变小已经很不错了，因为这样就可以进一步借助海洋里的细菌，分解作用消除石油颗粒;
2、之前都是实验室的样本，浓度大，现实中用的不会有危害;3、缺。
