【学校通知】：
学校打算给不住在学校，坐车上下课的学生也建立一个lounge, 里 面 有bulletin board 可以贴 posting.
【学生态度】：女生赞成：
1. 学校 dorm 有 lounge, 是很重要的social 和 relax 的地方， 坐车的学生也很辛苦，也很需要;
2. posting 可以提供信息， 学生们一起搭车省钱
T4 一篇关于business corporation招徕顾客手段的文章，大意是商家不能只是为了卖东西而卖东西，得需要customer参与进来，这样的话， customer喜欢他们才会买。 听力内容也是继续阐述这些，并举了一个T-shirt厂的事以前快倒闭了，结果后来用了让顾客自己design图案的business plan导致了所有T-shirt sold out。
T5 Problem: 一个男生对一个妹子说今晚是学校演出最后一晚了你不去幺? 妹子说票绝对搞得到但是今晚她应该在实验室shelve books 干几个小时怎么办?
Solutions: 1. 她可以第二天早起去图书馆把昨晚活干了。但是要6点起，参加演出和派对太累了。 2. 她可以拜托其他人替她把工作做了，只要罩得住别让她因为缺席而扣工资。
T6 在讲座中，教授谈到了动物之间的合作。
In the lecture, the professor talks about the cooperation among animals. He offers us an example to illustrate it. Usually mothers won’t allow anyone to get close to their cubs. But sometimes mother monkeys would let younger females in the group to help take care of their babies. This happens mainly for two reasons. First of all, this way mother monkeys would have time to do more important things like getting food. Secondly, this also offers the younger females a very good opportunity to learn to take care of baby monkeys, it’s sort of like a training for them, so that they are more likely to become good mothers themselves in the future.

W1 reading passage: 说一种叫T.rex 的恐龙可能是不会跑的，原因有三个：
1. 体积太大体重太重，如果跑太远，一旦跌倒的话，就会有致命的危险。
2. T.rex 的腿又细又长。而跑的时候肌肉会对骨头产生很大的力量，而又细有长的骨头难以支撑这种力量，跑久了会断掉;
3. 根据计算，如果T.rex 这种size 的恐龙要跑的话，体重的分布应该是：86%的体重都在腿部。而T.rex 的体重分布不符合这个计算结果。
Listening 段子说：这三个理由都很容易被challenge。
1. 首先，摔倒时有致命的危险并不意味着这种动物就一定不会跑。举例子，比如猴子，也可能在树之间荡的时候摔下来也有致命危险，但他们还是会这样去荡，因为这是一种生存需要。像T.rex 这种predator，会跑带来的好处是很明显的，有益于其捕猎。由于收益大于风险，因此T.rex 很可能还是会跑的。
2. 腿很细、很高的动物不一定不会跑。事实证明，很多现代动物，如马，虽然腿很细但都能跑。原因是他们会通过调整跑步姿势和方式来降低肌肉对骨头的冲击力。比如，马每跑一下他们的步子都很小，然后他们会不断重复这样的小步子从而向前跑动。
3. reading passage 的计算是基于假想的T.rex 的样子，很多参数不一定是对的。比如，如果改变一些假设(比如T.rex 的内部器官的体积、跑步的时候是否lean for ward，是否hold their back straight)，可能算出来的结果是反的，是可以支持“T.rex 是能够跑步的”这一结论。
