As far as I’m concerned, cooking for my families at home on weekend afternoon is what I would like to do . The reasons are as follows.
Firstly, I enjoy cooking better than doing sports or other things. Cooking is really interesting especially when my families finish up all of the food I cook for them and say “thank you ” to me. It’s one of greatest things in the world which can bring me a good sense of accomplishment. Secondly, we are all very busy during weekdays, so weekend afternoons are the best time for us to get together to do something relaxing, such as chatting, watching movies and of course trying to make some delicious dishes. Obviously ,my cooking skill can always help make a wonderful weekend.

有人认为robots未来会比人类更聪明，do you agree and why?

Agree:
① Robot can do work with no limit. It can do work either day or night.
② Robot don't have any pain, show tiredness or feel sick . They never complain, either.
③ Robot can keep many information in their head for as long as like 10 years and above.
Disagree:
① Robots are not "smart." Robots do the actions they were programmed to do by a human. While there have been programs created to help robots "learn," these are still limited by the overall software they carry.
② Humans only use 15% of there brains. It’s impossible that robots are more intelligent than those who invented them.
Task 3
阅读：学生建议学校hold a sale for used items. 因为1：学生可以花较少的钱买used items;2:学生有很多不用的东西可以通过这个活动卖掉。
听力：女生同意该建议，因为：
1)Students can’t afford new items.说自己中学时想买自行车但是太贵，如果有跳蚤市场，就可以买used items，则很省钱;2)It is easier for students to get rid of useless things in the dormitory.
Task 4
阅读：evolution in action:快速的进化以便适应rapid sudden changes.
听力：举例一种植物种在地里，一开始长得很高，但是用除草剂之后，它们就长不高了，甚至开始趴着长。
Task5
问题: 男生想上Children Psychology这门课，但他不能meet requirement, 因为他没上过introduction psychology课。
方案1： 两门课一起上，但他会感觉stressful, some materials in the Children Psychology will be difficult;
方案2： Take introduction psychology this term, take children psychology next term.但他下学期要申请graduate school,不想上太多课。
建议选后者，因为可以按时完成，既不用向教授解释，又不会影响论文成绩。
Task6
Two drawbacks of planning
Drawback 1: 计划太精细可能根本完不成,还会让自己郁闷，然后干脆不再follow the plan。 然后教授举自己的例子。
Drawback 2：做计划时高估自身的能力，其实根本完成不了那么多的任务。举例说自己看一篇paper,但有太多不懂的知识，导致没有在规定的时间内完成。
