Hide-and-seek is the activity that I like most when I was a child. Just as the name indicates, the game simply requires some players to hide in some places, and the rest of the players try to search and find them. We can play it anywhere, in the garden, in the classroom or in someone’s house. I like the game very much because it is full of excitement. If you are the ones to hide, you need to make smart decisions to choose a best place in the surroundings. If you are the seekers, you have to look over every possible place and you feel great sense of accomplishments when you find the hider. So it has always been my favorite activity when I was a child.
Task 2: 有人喜欢去新的没去过的地方旅游，有人喜欢回到去过的地方旅游，你prefer哪个?

Personally speaking, I would prefer travelling to the place that I have never been. As for me, the charm of travelling is that there is always something new waiting to be explored. Whenever I go to a new place, I can meet people with various cultures, visit places of different styles, and taste local food that I have never tasted before. After such an exciting trip, I can not only fresh my mind but also broaden my horizon. Besides, visiting new places bring new challenges. For example, I need to learn some basic Thai expressions if I want to travel to Thailand. It is also a good way to push myself keeping learning.
Task3
学校在报纸上刊登校外工作，女生支持。
一是因为校内工作机会太少，她第一学期的时候去找工作早被人抢完了。
二是校外工作可以给学生以后的工作提供经验，有long term benefit。
Task4
Customer lock-in公司卖的产品，如果配件什么坏了只能从这个公司买，其他公司的产品不兼容。教授举例说自己的相机，一个地方坏了买了别的公司的东西安不上，只好买原来公司的产品，虽然更贵而且他也不喜欢。
Task5
男的要去参加朋友的婚礼，但是没西服，可以向他哥借，但是不fit不好看。
方法一是他朋友Susan可以帮他sewing，但她不专业可能毁了衣服。
方法二是学校有商店可以修，但是有点贵。但那个男生说现在临近毕业了可以再那儿打工之类的。
Task6
两种阿尔卑斯地区植物适应harsh环境的方法：
第一种长得很矮，像shrub，来抵御高地风的摧残;
第二种会形成waxy layer来减少呼吸作用导致的水分流失，因为土壤里水很少。
