Task1 – What do you think is the most important quality of a working environment: good leaders, good colleagues, or flexible time?

Well, I would prefer to work in a working environment with flexible time. First of all, by working flexible hours, I am able to better control and manage my daily life. To be honest, I’m so bored to get up early everyday and travel to work place during the rush hour. Instead, I can travel to work in non-peak hours, which save me a lot of time and better make my schedule. Moreover, if I were allowed to arrange my workdays and holiday freely I might be able to have a longer holiday when I can travel abroad or stay at a place for sufficient time to explore the surrounding and have a better understanding of the local custom.
Task2 – Which do you prefer? An interesting class but very strict with scoring, or a boring class that gives you high scores.

For me, I would prefer an interesting class that is strict with and scoring. Sure, we can’t deny that it’s really appealing for a class to offer a high score even if it’s boring, while students can acquire more knowledge in an inviting study atmosphere and might be better educated through entertainment. Although I may only get an average or limited score in such an interesting but strict class, at least I’m inspired and joyed during the whole learning process even it needs more efforts. On the other hand, I might lose the willingness to work hard and miss the sense of achievement if I could get a satisfactory score in each test. I may wonder “Why am I even in school if I can get an ideal score without effort? It doesn’t make any sense”

阅读学校决定让art students 去汤普森学校教学,对学校有利并且学生可以获得教学经验。
听力中的男生同意,因为他小的时候学校里没有美术课,他希望有人教他艺术。而且除了他的专业,还选修了教育,但是缺乏实际的经验,去学校教学很有用。
Task4
讲一种广告手法,就是在广告制作之前,除了广告的名字,还会展示与产品相关的图片。例子中,一种新汽车生产前,广告展示了生动的自然景象,有山,天空还有一条路。然后车生产出来之后,广告里的景象一样,但是多了车。人们第一次被吸引之后很容易再次被同样的景象再次吸引,所以车卖得很好。
Task5
对话中女生的问题是她住的公寓出售给别人了,所以需要搬家,但她没有找到合适的apartment。方法一是住朋友家但是不方便,方法二住一个价格比较合算的公寓里但是离学校太远。
Task6
讲座主题是动物如何因为群居获益。第一,群居的动物被捕杀者抓住的可能性变小,比如蝙蝠一起飞出洞口时,只有一小部分会被等在洞口的捕食者抓住。第二,捕食者来的时候,可以通知其他同伴逃跑,比如有一种海洋生物,一部分会在海面上观察,一旦捕食者来了就提醒它的小伙伴逃跑。
