Task 1
The school allows sludenis to keep pets in(heir dorms. Do you think it is good or not?
学生宿舍养宠物应该?
思路：
1. 独立问题一定要根据自己的上观感受和经历来分析答题，不要纠结哪种可能更加好说。 如果你自身很喜欢小动物，觉得他们很可爱，是一种陪伴，给宿舍带来温馨和欢乐，自己也有一直陪伴的宠物，如果上学离开它会很难过，自然会选择同意。
2. 但有些人会觉得，有动物就需要有人打扫卫生，宿舍会有味道，会有些脏有些吵，所以并不希望宿舍有动物，这样也是讨以有很多细节和例子的。
范例：
I don't think pets should be allowed indorms. Even though I am into animals, I do not think dorm is a proper place to raise them. On one hand, dormito' is the place where mostpeople rest, sleep and study, and it requires a quite atmosphere.
But pets like dogs and catswould make noises and some people even like to keep reptiles with them, which is pretty scary for me.On the other hand,if the school allows pets in the dorms, they need to let students fill in form sal ead to see if they are comfortable with pels in dorms since a lot of people arc actually allcipc to some animals. And this is a lot of work and sometimes students may not be satisfied with tlicarrangement. (133 words)
Task2
Do you agree or disagree that celebritiessuch as artists and athlete should be the role model for people?
你同意将popular celebritiessuch as actors and artists 音乐人，体育运动员，作为学习的对象吗?
思路：
1.有些人认力偶像的力里足很强人的，崇拜偶像会给自己带来很多positiveenergy,如果能有幸见到偶像就会非常激动，这里其实有很多例子可以举，接机，演唱会，见而会等等，偶像也吋以举出一个具休的，描述你是如何喜欢他，所以他让你的生活很有动力，甚罕学习时很开心。(比如真的有学牛说过，她的梦想就尨做林更新的经纪人，所以要很努力的学习变得很牛逼)
2.另一个角度，celebrities like artists and athlete他们的成功很大程度上依靠天分，外表和机遇，所以并不完全每个人自己能决定的。其实有很多人，比如说曾经并不知名的科学家屠呦呦，她坚韧不拔的品质是值得学习的。并且，社会主流价值观应该更加推崇培养靠自己的努力成功的态度，并不应该过多的在怠外表和机遇。
范例：
I personally do not agree with thestatement, mostly because if an artist or athlete is successful, i! depends too much on the talent or good looks they have, which is not decided bythemselves, but decided by their genes.
Sometimes celebrities like actors may have badinfluence on young people,because they care too much about their appearance but not their inside beauty.
The phenomenon that teenagers are having plastic sui^eries at such a young age might berelated to that. My point is that celebrities are not goodexamples for people lo learn tliat focusing on what they have and working hard arc actually goodqualities.
There was actually experiments proving that telling kids they are talented may not lead to a good result as telling themthey are hardworking.(132 words)
Task 3
学校要求所有学生下一年开始required practice interview女个不同意。两点原因：1是学生给面试，大家不紧张，也不会认真对待。2毕业时太忙，有很多其他的事儿要做，paperexam part-time job.
范例：
Theschool announced that from next year, interview practice is required for everystudent in order to graduate. However, the woman in the conversationdocs not agree with it.
First she said that the interviews are all held by students themselves which is not ver formal. Noone is going to be nervous or taking it seriously. Most of them won‘t be preparing for it either because it is not like real interviews, the result doesn' t really maner.
Second, during thegraduation season, everyone is busy with their papers, exams, and part-time jobs. They do not have time toprepare for it or participate. It actually won' t help.
Task 4

1) 一个例子是samon (年靑的时候在浅的水里)
2) 就算有samon也可以坐到石头后面不容易被找到
Task5
男的问题：concert and audition 冲突了，Solution 1 先去audition 然后早走去看concert Solution2有个secondly audition劣势：笫二天的视镜都是小角色，没有太多台调，not fun
范例：
In the conversation, the man is having aproblem that he wants to go to a concert, but there is an audition he also wants to go and they are scheduled at the sametime.
He has two solutions. One is go to the audition first and leave earlier to the concert. The other is that hecan go to the audition on the second day.
I think the first solution is much better.Because he won' t miss a lot. If he really wants a role in the play he should take the audition seriously and be prepared for hal.
If he went to the concert a little bit later, he might miss the beginning and it doesn’t really matter.However, if he went to the second-day audition, there are only some minor role let.
These roles do notrequire a lot or acting and they don' t have a lot of lines which is not fun at all. That's why I recommend the first solution.
Task 6
两个Home based small business 的缺点：
1)没有办法分personal life 和business (prepare food，来电话时有孩子在哭，not professional，对方也不会信任);
2)邻居不开心，(其他人来帮忙，会占用邻居的车位)。
范例：
In the lecture, the professor talked abouttwo disadvantages of home based small business. Ilie first one is that business owners would mix their work and their personal lifetogether.
they might be working while preparing for food; when someone is calling, they may hearkids cry ing from tlie phone which is totally not professional and it would be hard for customers totrust them.
On the other hand, the neighbors would be unhappy about business in the neighborhoodsince there will be people visiting and taking their parking space which is very inconvenient.
