To deal with the problem, he could have two options. One thing he could do is to wait to deposit enough money. Another thing he could do is to borrow money from the girl. If I were the student bothered with the problem, I would choose the second solution for the following reasons. First of all, since he would borrow money from the girl, he could manage to have enough money to pay for the desk. Secondly, the seller didn’t guarantee to wait for him, if there is someone who also wanted to buy this desk, the seller would sell it immediately.
