On April 13th, I took my first IELTS test without enough prior preparation. Then after three months preparation and hard work, I took my second IELTS test. The scores I got this time for the listening and reading sections saw significant improvement compared with the previous one.
However, what surprised me is that the score of speaking section dropped from 6.5 to 6. I believe that the IELTS is a people-oriented test and will take my application seriously. Most of all, it is pre-requisite to reach band 7.5 in total for the sake of attending my ideal university but the band 6 in the speaking&writing parts shattered my goal.
