　　今年共46场考试18场新题，占三分之一。这一新旧趋势基本稳定。分布情况看，1-4月仅出现三次新题。5-9月12次新题，平均每月两次。10-12月只出现三次新题，剩下都是2015-2016的重复旧题。或许因为冬季人们懒散还要庆祝节日、年初还没有从节日中缓过来所以没有余力出新题。年中大家工作努力新题出现频率高。即便如此，也不必为避免新题报年初或年末的考试。因为仔细看新题还是延续旧题，没有纯粹出新。比如，

　　年初的新题问作为一个会有很长假期的大学生，应该去做如下哪件事?在这个长假其中第一件事students must take a course on the subject that has no direct connection to their majors of study.，是不是要选跟本专业无关的课;第二件事，students must volunteer to work in the city where the university is located or their hometowns to improve some aspects of life of the city or their own town.是不是做志愿工作。虽然这是新题但这些都是托福经常考的题。“要不要选跟自己本专业无关的课”，“是不是所有专业的学生都必须修基础科学课”，“是不是所有专业都需要学历史课”?

　　所以虽然题目整体是新的，但选项都是旧的。新题只是旧题的排列组合，不要害怕新题。如果准备充分新题都是似曾相识。
