2.1 Honours degree or non-UK equivalent ideally in business related discipline. Your degree must contain at least 25% of credits in business & management. This is a specialist degree for students with a background in a relevant field of study. Those who do not have such a background who would like to pursue further studies in the area of management are advised to apply for MSc Management.

By the end of the programme you will have the knowledge and skills that will equip you to undertake independent research at the frontier of the management field. This will enable you to pursue further PhD research or to take up employment in policy or practice that relies on management research. Graduates can pursue careers in management, including local and national government, business, and industry. Possible professions include management consultant, analyst or research project manager. The vast majority of our graduates have continued onto a PhD in management. We have a dedicated careers and employability team who provide 1-2-1 support and advice, group workshops, employer events on campus and networking opportunities throughout the year to help you with your careers prospects.
